Egypt has one of the oldest civilizations in the world and filled with ancient history. One of them is the Pyramids of Giza, that perhaps is the most famous man-made stuctures in the world and they are one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. These pyramids were constructed between 2584 BC – 2581 BC.
There are three main pyramids which are bigger than the other pyramids, they are the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. According to Wikipedia (yes this is where I get my source – sometimes! he he he)
, they are 138 pyramids that have been discovered at Giza. That is a lot of Pyramids don’t you think? They must have been smart people to be able to build them and NO, there are no aliens involved in building them!
It was the people of Israel that were being slaved by the Egyptians.
I am amazed on how able they were in building these kind of structure 4500 ago! They must have had such great architects back then.
Tips: You might want to give an extra attention to your belongings (my tour guide said that around the pyramids, there are people “who like take stuff that aren’t theirs”
) – If you go by a tour bus, perhaps leaving your belongings in the bus would be the wisest thing to do. Another thing, do not forget to have your camera handy.
